About Ban Rim Lay Pam
A family house that grew a noodle shop, on a deck over the mangroves at the end of a lane in Ko Kaeo, north of Phuket Town. The banner says it all: yentafo — the pink noodle soup coloured by fermented bean curd — and seafood tom yum, and the house speciality crosses the two in one bowl with prawns, squid and a mussel. There is no English menu; you point at the photo boards and pay in cash, very little. Lunch only, until 4:30 pm.
