About Rassada Pier
The island's main ferry terminal, on the east coast just south of Phuket Town, and the place to catch any ferry or speedboat to the Phi Phi Islands, Krabi or Koh Lanta. Big ferries take about two hours to Phi Phi for around 600 THB; speedboats do it in about an hour for 850–950 THB. Tickets are sold at the pier, though they are usually cheaper online, and most come with a minivan pick-up. Rebuilt after the 2004 tsunami, the terminal has an ATM, a money exchange, a few restaurants and a large car park.
