About Ao Po Grand Marina
A marina on the north-east coast at Ao Po, about half an hour's drive from the airport, and the smarter alternative to Bang Rong for crossing to the Koh Yao islands. Speedboats reach Koh Yao Noi in about 15 minutes, the quickest crossing from Phuket, and Koh Naka Yai in about 20; some Phang Nga Bay tours start here too. Besides the marina and its yacht services there are restaurants and bars, the Port of Call and the D Deck among them, which make a delay easier to sit out.
