About Blue Canyon Country Club – Canyon Course
The harder of Blue Canyon Country Club's two courses, in Mai Khao near the airport, and the longest on the island at 7,179 yards from the back tees. Narrow fairways lined with old rubber trees open onto carries over canyons and water left by tin mining; the par-3 13th asks for 221 yards over a canyon with nowhere to bail out. It hosted the Johnnie Walker Classic three times in the 1990s, Tiger Woods winning in 1998. Tee times run from 06:15 to 15:00; green fees are about 4,500–5,500 THB in high season.
