About Coconuts Café

A tiny café that feels like a grandmother's village house, down a lane near Chalong Circle that is easy to miss. Shoes come off at the door; inside are five tables among embroidered cloths, antique dressers and tea sets, and a veranda looks over a lawn of coconut palms and giraffe statues. The menu is longer than the room suggests — breakfasts, salads, pasta and Thai dishes, many of them vegetarian or vegan, with homemade cakes and brownies — and the portions are generous. Open daily from 8 am to 5 pm.
