About Coconut Heaven
A plain, family-run café on the steep road from Tri Trang Beach towards Paradise Beach, ten minutes' drive south of Patong. The building is nothing more than a metal roof over wooden floors, with long counters along the railing so every stool faces the sea; the row of high seats at the front is where you want to be. Fresh coconuts land on almost every table, alongside Thai dishes, squid and mussels at fair prices. Open daily from 10 am to 10 pm — late morning has the best colours on the bay. Not to be confused with the Coconut Heaven in Nai Yang.
