A café built down a rocky hillside over the sea on the road from Patong to Kamala, easy to miss on a blind curve: look for the wooden entrance on the seaward side. You order and pay at the door, at least one drink and one dish each, then walk down steep stairs to terraces set up for photographs — swings over the water, heart-shaped frames, decks facing the sunset. The food is simple and the view is the reason to come, best from the lower deck late in the afternoon.
