An elephant reserve in a green valley at Chalong where nobody rides or bathes the animals. The short visit is half an hour of hand-feeding with a mahout beside you; the longer one adds a guided walk with the herd and hotel transfer. Expect a few elephants on open grass, uneven wet ground, and booking ahead for the walk.
